New statutory boards formed to drive skills and employment

They will pay close attention to the SkillsFuture initiative as well as to foster competitiveness and quality jobs for Singaporeans in the long-term.Two new statutory boards have been established to assist in the implementation of two key national policies.According to a press release from the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) on Tuesday (12 January), SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), will be formed under the Ministry of Education (MOE) to propel and coordinate the implementation of SkillsFuture.
