South Korea’s jobless rate edged down in May as more people were hired in the manufacturing and service sectors, a government report showed Wednesday.  According to the report by Statistics Korea, the jobless rate stood at 3.8 percent last month, down from 3.9 percent in April. The number, however, rose 0.2 percentage point from a year earlier.
