A LinkedIn survey reveals which workers care more about appearances in social media than being truthful on CVs. White collar workers in China are the most superficial in the world because they care more for appearances than being truthful about their job history. According to the New Norms @Work study, conducted last month by LinkedIn and survey company Censuswide, 38% of Chinese workers said they judged their colleagues by their profile pictures. Second to China is India, with 33.7% of workers stating the same. A third of Hong Kong workers judged respondents on their social media profile pictures. Millennials aged 25-34 changed their profile pictures more often than any other age group.
